Linerless labelling. Changeover times and efficiency

This is why the linerless labelling system offers immediate solutions to the problem of waste and excess cellulose that is difficult to recycle due to the amount of waste that is produced during its use. Traditional labels generate waste (both from the liner and the grid in its support), waste that is avoided with the linerless system as there is no liner and grid, as well as having a lower label thickness than conventional labels.

The reduction of emissions during recycling also leads to a reduction in production, transport and storage costs. Each roll of linerless label paper can contain twice as many labels, which means more time in use of the labelling machine, and together with an extraordinarily easy and fast roll changeover system, it reduces downtime on the line, resulting in improved agility and customer service. In addition to this, the linerless labels have a variable length feature instead of the traditional fixed length, which will reduce the number of labels even further and will also reduce the number of times the roll is changed if different lengths are required to display different data and information on the label.

Epelsa offers linerless labelling systems to integrate into its PC TouchScale, K-Scale and XS ranges of scales, further increasing their already excellent efficiency.
